"Register to Vote and Chill" was inspired by the efforts of The Comedy Resistance. I wanted to produce an event where the audience could both watch a show and register to vote. This was an uncurated show with a loose theme: Voting! 

 

I reached out to a political organization on campus and recruited volunteers to meet with me a few days prior to the event to complete voter registration training.

 

At the event, we registered people before, during, and after the show. My team registered many new voters for the midterm elections and updated countless addresses.

 

The show had 8 performance pieces that included poetry readings, musical improv, stand up comedy, and a dating game show!
